This English text is provided for convenience. The Italian version is the one that governs the contractual relationship and prevails in the event of any discrepancy.
In brief. This site uses only technical cookies, needed to protect access, keep the sessions of the restricted areas alive and remember the language you chose. We do not use profiling, advertising or behavioural analytics cookies, which is why we show you no consent banner: for technical cookies, consent is not required.
1. Who runs this site
The controller of the processing described in this notice is AIR-GARDA S.R.L., Via Giuseppe di Vittorio 121, 20097 San Donato Milanese (MI), Italy, VAT 01169980198, REA MI-2544699, the website operator. The full framework is set out in the privacy notice.
To exercise your rights or ask for clarification, write to info@seaplaneinvenice.com.
2. The cookies you will find
seaplane_preview — keeps your access to protected operational paths and private media after you enter the site password. Maximum duration 14 days.
seaplane_admin, seaplane_partner, seaplane_instructor — keep the sessions of the respective restricted areas: administration, partner portal, pilot area. Maximum duration 12 hours.
These four cookies contain a random value, not the password.
seaplane_lingua — remembers for one year the preference selected with the IT/EN switch. It contains only the language code and identifies no one. On public pages it is used solely for a temporary redirect from an Italian URL to its matching English URL: the content of each URL always remains in the language stated by its address.
We use no others. The site sets no third-party cookies, uses no tracking pixels and stores nothing in the browser's local storage.
3. How to refuse or delete them
You can block or delete cookies from your browser settings — the section is usually called "Privacy and security" — where you will also find the list of those present, with the option to remove them one by one.
It is worth knowing what happens. Deleting seaplane_lingua merely disables the preference redirect: root URLs remain in Italian and URLs under /en remain in English. In restricted areas that have no language-specific URL, the browser may still supply the initial preference. Blocking the session cookies, on the other hand, means you will not be able to reach the restricted areas, operational paths and private media protected by the site password: that is not a limitation we can remove, because it is the cookie itself that keeps the session active after you enter your credentials.
4. Performance measurement
Vercel Speed Insights, a tool from the provider that runs the site, is active on the commercial pages /, /esperienza, /aeromobile, /prenota, /servizi-su-richiesta, /empty-leg and /contatti; on /gestisci and /area-riservata; on professional sign-in pages; and in the restricted administration, partner, pilot and instructor areas. It is not active on /accesso, /privacy, /cookie-policy, /termini, /invito/… and /preventivo/…: these pages use no performance measurement or analytics tool. Speed Insights measures how long a page takes to appear and become usable, and reports back the page address, the device and connection type, and some timing indicators.
It exists to keep the site fast, and nothing else. It uses no cookies, sets no persistent identifiers and does not follow you from site to site: that is why it does not fall among the analytics cookies that would require your consent. We process it on the basis of our legitimate interest in the service working well, and you can object by writing to us.
